The mission of the Colorado Dance Collective is to create a spirit of collaboration and learning among our dancers, our colleagues in the fine arts, and the community at large by providing high quality classes, workshops, and performances at minimal cost to participants.

It is our vision to be a diverse and inclusive company of dancers known for our innovative, high quality productions and service oriented community interactions, which promote dance as an integral part of our culture.

We look to provide a quality dance workshop experience. This event offers dance classes at three different levels throughout the day at no cost. We continue the community dance experience with a family friendly showcase of our local dance crews.

Classes are split up into three levels. How do you know which class to take?

Beginning Level - You have never ever ever ever taken a dance class and are looking to learn some basics for the first time. This class will be full of energy and help shake off some of those anti-dance bugs you may have. This is for you! (Ages 6 and up)

Intermediate Level - You love to dance, but need some guidance. You may have taken a class before but nothing too extensive. Maybe you are a good dancer in another genre but want to give hip hop a try. You should take this class! If you are an adult this is also a good place to start. (Ages 10 and up)

Advanced Level - You are ready for a challenge. The number one thing to keep in mind is that this will still be fun. Don't let the title make you feel like you couldn't do it. In this class things will go faster and body movement will go from the floor to jumping and a lot of sweating. If you have trained in hip hop before for over 2-3 years... well this may be your spot. (Ages 14 and up) We welcome adults to this class as well!

Each level will offer TWO different classes. Each class will be lead by a different instructor, DENVER SCHANTZ OF THA HOMIES & MARCUS LIRA OF SOUTHPAQ. So make sure you stick around for both!

***Please be aware that participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal gaurdian for check-in on the day of the event.***

Suggested Donation for Tickets: $10 for Adults and $5 for Children

**All donations made through ticket sales will be used to fund next year's Hip Hop Madness event!**
